So for dance class I have to complete a class of stage crew. It is so boring. I can't even begin to tell you! I sit backstage and change the colors for the lights. I have learned how to work the lights, clean the floors, do sound cues, and set props. There are three shows containing thirteen pieces each. Each piece is 20 minutes long. There are judges who vote and judge the dances. THey pick their 8 top routines to perform in the fourth and final show. So each show I watch is different. I have to be here everyday from 8 till 10:30. It is really boring but I learn a lot!! See you all after spring break :)

I will admit going in the morning just to change lights will get anyone mad. Two hours to clean, switch lights, and set props; that is a lot to do Good to hear that you are learning some new dancing routines. If it is okay, may I ask why would dance be involve in cleaning the stage? Once you are done, can you just leave early or does it have to be the specific time? The positive side to this you get to see how judges vote and learn some new techniques that someday you might use. Well good luck and enjoy working backstage.
